Week twelve

I thought this week it would be interesting to show the difference before and after the week actually finishes, I tend to add things retrospectively (as I've said before, awful procrastinator)
So here is last week, posted on a Tuesday!

Week eleven

Trying to make my pages neater, using colour coding better and using more tape n stickers but not going overboard.
I'll let you be the judge of how I've done!

Week ten

Going to have a complete overhaul of my blog soon, sort out the design and start posting regularly, do a set up post and a post on the family - watch this space!

Week nine

Busy busy, got some washi tape but not quite sure how I'm going to use it yet. Paperchase's in-store stock is pretty rubbish! Going to have to buy some on the website... But I always seem to just rip it when I'm trying to take it off!
I'm sure I'll get the hang of it!

Week eight

Goodness me, been trying to post this since Sunday!

A busy week! Lots of new arrivals and stress from a dodgy eBay listing.

Week seven

As you can see, my filofax family will be expanding soon!
I'll now have a personal, pocket and a5 which will work out quite nicely.
My boyfriend got his first filo, a pocket, making his binder count two (i recently bought him a pocket paperchase binder) and I got serious pocket envy! The wallet pocket, the tinyness... It all seemed too good to be true. Then I remembered for a few years at school our issued diaries were pocket-equivalent-sized. I guess I'll think about what to do with it once it gets here!
I'm also thinking about putting my Japanese studies in the a5. I'll see how it goes...
Can't wait for them to arrive!
(dont judge all my eBay listings, I wanted to make sure I got a bargain! And with under £30 paid for both, including postage, think I got a p good deal)

(lovely sunny lighting! Not sure what's going on with the weather- it's meant to snow again Friday. But it's lovely and warm at the moment, I'll take it!)

Procrastination, GO!

So I've been waiting to get on a computer to post Angela's (hope that is the right url) "post your week" so I can make it all pretty and do all the other posts I need to... but its been 5 weeks now so I am sucking it up n posting on the android blogger app with trepidation..
Here goes! Expect many photos. (I'd do a cut here but app doesn't seem to like it)

A brisk november 8th morning:

of course it was the malden! happy to have joined the malden family on philofaxy

i don't care if i'm not affiliated with philofaxy, i'm part of the family whether they like it or not! i'll just be the strange uncle that shows up at family gatherings and no one has the heart to turn him away.

I named him doctor grey (dr. dre, anyone?) i thought it was funny anyway...

after browsing little twin stars stationary i came across some really cute 2012-2013 inserts for the LV agenda. For two weeks i tried to discern the differences between sizes and ring spacings and eventually learnt the difference between the sizes of the agenda. I had no interest in LV, and discovered filofax. i had my heart set on a personal but the inserts i had found were pocket-sized. Eyed up the swift for a good few months.
/a few months later
Saw the swift in-store and was worried i'd scuff the fabric with the ridiculous amount i carry in my bag. Somehow came across the malden, i loved the piazza and metropol, beautiful colours; but i'd always keep coming back to the malden. i had heard wonders of it's soft leather and flatibility (had long been lurking philofaxy) and had my heart set on it. Funds were the only problem.
The ochre was my favourite, and also most hard to come-by, the vintage pink was on sale everywhere at around £20 for a personal. I was very torn. An ochre came up on bids on eBay and i narrowly missed out on it (curse you Odeon cinemas with no signal, i happened to be just finishing a film and it ended just as i got into signal range, and for only £23 including shipping) a few months later another ochre came up, this time i wasted no time and asked the seller if she'd accept £35 including shipping for the beauty. She accepted! I then got buyer's remorse and backed out as it was planner only and for a first filofax, even with all the help/ printable inserts on philofaxy, i had no idea where to start with inserts, and was worried it could get very expensive. (it ended up going for £57 on bids a few days later)

One day my partner surprised me with a box in his hands. I wonder what is inside...
